Barbara Ann Jensen

3-9-1948 to 11-12-2022

Barbara A. Jensen, 74, locally from Marysville, Washington passed away 11-12-2022. Days prior, she would be comforted with love by surrounding family members before peacefully passing in her daughter's loving arms, whom vowed to stay with her until her last breath was taken.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois to David and Bernice Ridgewell. They would move to Duluth, Minnesota where she was raised with her brother Mark.

She met the love of her life Jens Jensen, whom she would marry after he was honorably discharged from the United States Coast Guard 10-30-1977.

They married on 04-07-1966 and remained happily married until the sudden passing of her beloved. They would be apart for 9 years and she missed him dearly.

they would live in Colorado for a while after the births of their two children, David Paul and Debra Ann. They moved again to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho where they worked and raised their children. One of their favorite things they did was fishing and boating on the lakes surrounded by all the natural beauty of mountains, trees, and the smell of fresh air.

Lastly, they would move to Washington State following a job transfer Barb would have with GTE as a telephone operator.

Eventually, retirement came along with 5 grandchildren. David and Vickie with 3 boys; Joshua, Corey, and Austin. Living afar and busy, lives would limit time spent together.

Debbie and Tim have 2 girls; Michaela and Mackenzie, whom they were very involved with in their various school activities and sports. Many will remember the matching wolf coats they wore together. Simply adorable. They were very proud of the girls' achievements over the years and never missed an opportunity to share this with everyone.

Our mother Barb will be terribly missed; I will cherish the memories I had with her and the gift it was to take care of her for so many years.

You are no longer suffering in pain. We are at peace knowing you are in a beautiful place in the loving arms of Dad and other family members dear to you. Until we see you again, know that you are loved beyond measure each and every day.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, brother Mark, and beloved husband Jens.

Survived by her son David (Vickie) Jensen, daughter Debbir (Tim) Konsor, grandchildren Joshua, Corey, Austin, Machaela, and Mackenzie, along with many other extended family members.
