Cher Lor

Cher was born on January 2, 1987 in the village of Nam Lia, Sayabouri, Laos. The only daughter to Youa Her Lor and Ka Ying Cha and only sister to Koua, Shoua, Sai, Lao, Neng and John. Youa Her brought his family to Washington State in 1988 and is where Cher spent the rest of her life.

Cher always dreamt of starting a family of her own and on February 24, 2017, her dream was one step closer, by marrying the love of her life, Leng Lee. Fast forward to 2020, despite all adversity with the world at a stand still due to COVID 19, along with complications of starting a family, they were blessed with their first child, Jayden. Not long after their first, their second and third will soon follow, Kyla in 2021 and Khloe in 2023.

Cher’s dream was finally complete with the addition of Khloe to kick off the new year. Little did she know, her dream will be short lived, with the sudden passing of her father on April 27, 2023, only 70 days after her third child was born. Dealing with postpartum depression and the passing of her father, Cher’s world was falling apart faster than she can piece back together. Even with the love and support of her husband, her precious children’s and her families, she was still unable to succumb her loneliness and the missing father figure in her life.

Cher passed away on December 9, 2023. She left behind her husband Leng, 3 year old son Jayden, 2 year old daughter Kyla, and 10 months old daughter Khole. Her laughter will echo through Jayden, her smile will shine through Kyla, her love and caring gestures will be felt through Khloe. She will forever be missed.
