Chris was about to move to Seattle when he came to my home for a 60th birthday party for Jimmy Young. He brought his father. It was a great time together. Everyone was so proud of his accomplishments. He was so excited about going to Washington. Thoughts to this entire family!

Heart felt condolences to the Cannon family and friends for the loss of such a loving Spirit of a man. While I never knew Chris, I grew up with his father, Aunt Terri, Uncle Neal and his grandparents. We were neighbors oh so many years ago in Albany. When I would visit with his father and grandmother over the years they would share Chris' accomplishments with such great joy I felt like i knew him. I do know he was deeply loved and will be missed. He is in good hands with his other father now and we have another angel watching over us. OxO ~ Tori

Chris inspired so many while in 5th grade Math class at Sonny Carter. As a member of the Math Team, he appoached the task with earnest diligence. I enjoyed watching him grow and become more outspoken with a deeper understanding. He was always up for the challenge!!! During his Senior year he and another student nominated me as their Paws Honor teacher. I was totally elated because both students were in my 5th grade class and each spoke of how much that class meant to them. I appreciated so much that he thought of me. I speak of him often to students who are in my Math classes now. To the Family, fond memories keep the heart warm. Speak of him often. You are in my prayers. Love, Mrs. Monroe.
