David E. Look, 53, survivor of cancer and stem cell transplant, was called to Heaven Feb. 19, 2016 by his lord and savior, Jesus Christ following a sudden illness. He passed at Swedish Hospital – Edmonds with family and friends by his side.
David was born in Olympia, Wash. to Donald and Jean Look. The family moved to Everett in 1969. He graduated from Cascade High School with the class of 1980.
David’s greatest joy in life was the birth of his son David Anthony Look in 2008. David was an amazing father who dedicated his love and time to his family.
David enjoyed playing soccer and basketball in high school, and as he grew older became an avid fan of local teams that included the Seahawks, Mariners and Sonics. If anyone had a question that had anything to do with sports, they only needed to ask David.
Other interests that David enjoyed was learning about all the latest technology then tutoring his mother on some of the gadgetry. He also enjoyed a good competitive challenge with Xbox, which is something that he shared with David Anthony and his good friends.
David chose commercial painting as his profession. No job was too big or too small. He was soon recognized as being excellent at his craft whether the job called for the use of a paint brush, roller or spray gun and whether it was an inside or outside job, or if the project involved a house, condo or business establishment. Leadership was one of David’s strong traits. When a job required a team effort, David was designated the lead.
He was preceded in death by his Look and Ensman grandparents, father, and uncles and aunts.
avid is survived by his son, David Anthony; his beloved Kari LaSorte; mother, Jean Look-Krischano (Kris); sisters, Lori Cook, Karen Smith (Anthony), Jill Look (Mike); nephews Brandon and Logan Platz, and Dylan Pinney; nieces Monica Cook, Anna Smith; uncle Vince Ensman; aunts Donna Mae Sims, JoDee Knowles, great aunt Barbara Jean McCloskey, 90 years-old, who lives in Kansas, numerous cousins, and best friends Scott Tegard, Kris Benson and Tim Buchwalter.
