

Dennis "Denny" Martin Jones, age 52, passed away on August 6, 2023. He was born on February 10, 1971, in Everett, Washington, to Dennis R. Jones and Diane Jones. Denny grew up in Everett, creating cherished memories with his loved ones. He attended Jackson Elementary, North Middle School, and Everett High School, where he formed lifelong friendships.
Denny was known for his charming and charismatic personality, always bringing a carefree sense of humor to any gathering. He possessed a fiercely loyal nature, always standing by the side of those he cared about. Denny's love ran deep, and he touched the hearts of many.
One of Denny's greatest passions was playing softball. He spent countless hours on the field with his brothers, Brett and Darren, as well as numerous other softball brothers he met along the way. His infamous "shooting middle" tactic struck fear into the hearts of opponents and brought joy to his teammates. Denny's love for sports and competition was evident in his dedication and skill. Most recently, he found great pleasure in watching his daughter Hanna play varsity softball with his alma mater at Everett High School. He exuded overwhelming pride of her carrying on his legacy of his infamous “big bat” at the plate. Alongside Denny being a sports fanatic, him and his son Dylan shared a love and competitive nature together for basketball. Whether it was watching him play on the court or together in the backyard, he loved watching his son, “ballerjones” shoot hoops.
Music held a special place in Denny's heart, particularly rap. He had a deep appreciation for the genre and could often be found cruising in his car, enjoying the loudest bass possible. Denny's love for music was a reflection of his vibrant and energetic spirit.
Denny is preceded in death by his father Dennis and his mother Diane. He is Survived by his three children, Blake, Hanna, and Dylan. He also leaves behind his brothers Brett, Darren, and David, sister Melissa, stepmother Carol, nieces Kiauni, Reille, Breanna, and Kalika, nephews Jerrod and Devin, and his longtime love, Pam. Denny's love extended beyond immediate family, as he considered many friends to be family as well. He will be deeply missed by his cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
Denny was a man who was deeply loved and will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, and zest for life. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
May Denny's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bring joy and laughter to all who remember him.
