Ernie, beloved father and brother, passed away unexpectedly on March 18th, 2021, at age 69, in Everett, Washington.
Born April 15th, 1951 during a snowstorm at the farmstead near Lund’s Valley, North Dakota to Emil & Helen Lund, he was the youngest sibling to five older sisters; Clarice, Gloria, Carol, Dianne and Bonnie.
Ernie married Mary Frances Rollins in 1992. Ernie became “Dad” to Andrew and Rowland Rollins. Ernie and Mary welcomed a daughter, Eleanor, in 2001.
Ernie graduated from Bismarck High School in North Dakota in 1969. Upon graduation he moved to Washington State. He attended Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Washington where he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAD).
He created a business, H2L Partnership, LLC, building homes throughout the Seattle area. He was a very gifted carpenter and draftsman.
Ernie was a sweet, loving man with a great sense of humor. He loved family and friends and spent his free time enjoying all of them. He never met a stranger but loved everyone he met.
His passions were gardening, aviation, WWII history, basketball and animals.
Ernie is survived by his children, Eleanor, Andrew and Rowland, his sisters; Gloria, Dianne (Roger), Bonnie (Alex), and 13 nieces and nephews.
Ernie is preceded in death by his father, Emil Lund, mother, Helen Martin, sisters Carol Lund and Clarice Bokn, brother-in-law Maurice Bokn.
No public services are planned. Donations may be made to Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, Washington.
