

Frank S. Wald was born in Logan County, near Napoleon North Dakota on April 20, 1937 to Stanislaus and Katherine (Bosch) Wald. He attended Mannheim School. He joined the Army National Guard in 1961 and was awarded the National Emergency Service Award of the State of North Dakota in 1962.
He had a great interest in working in the field of auto mechanics. He attended Hanson Auto Trade School in Fargo, North Dakota from 1960-1961. He enjoyed working as an auto mechanic for the RM Staudt Ford Dealership in Jamestown, North Dakota from 1963-1965. He then moved to Seattle, Washington in 1965 and worked for the Boeing Company in Everett for five years. He attended Renton Vocational Technical Institute in Renton, Washington to prepare him for his next career. He then joined the Medical Physio-Control Company in Washington where he remained until his retirement.
Frank had a love for music and played in an old time music band both in North Dakota and in Seattle. He brought the joy of music to weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations. He also enjoyed having a dairy farm and raising cattle for his children to raise and show in the 4-H competitions.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carol with whom he spent many wonderful days in their home in Snohomish, Washington; his children Shirley Nielson, Pam Pogson, Bill Ferry, Diane Wald and Nancy McKillop; siblings, Barbara Duchscherer, Regina Schmidt, Alois Wald, Sister Gerard Wald and 15 grandchildren and many loved extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Ferry, as well as Margaret Fettig, Julia Meier, Anton Wald, Joseph Wald, Katherine Wald, and Andrew Wald.
