

His father’s name is Chou Tang Lai and his mother’s name Bui Ai.
Chou Seng-Hak is the first of two children in his family
As a child, Chou Seng-Hak studied literature at Kampong Krabei Primary School (Kampong Krabei Village, Prek Achi Community, Krouch Chhmar District, Kampong Cham Province. After learning how to read and write Chou Seng-Hak became a good son (a person who is easy to discipline) and is grateful to his parents, elders and elders of the community. Seeing such a good attitude of their child, his parents were very satisfied. They were advised that Chou Seng-Hak worked hard to learn, always did good things for others and was of great help to his family and friends. Unfortunately, at a young age, Chou Seng-Hak’s mother passed away leaving him and his brother behind to live with their respective father.
When he reached adulthood, Chou Seng-Hak’s father arranged a marriage for him at the age of 21 with a woman named Tei Hy Ang in Prek Sangke village, Peam Koh Sna community, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham Province.
Mr. Chou Seng-Hak and his wife, Ms. Te Hy Ang, after getting married, were sent by their father, Mr. Chou Tang Lai, to work in a rubber plantation in Chek chwea Village, Arak Tnaot community, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham Province.
Mr. Chou Seng-Hak has 9 Children: Two Sons and seven daughters.

Third Child: Huy-Khieng Chou
Fourth Child: Sok-Vantha Chou
Fifth Child: Sok-Vanthy Chou
Sixth Child: Huy-Meng Chou
Seventh Child: Muy-Eng Chou
His sons Chou Lee Heng and Chou Peng Sai had passed away.
In 1950, Mr. Chou Seng-Hak was assigned by Peam Koh Sna community chief to be the guardian of the community in order to gain independence from France with Smadech Ov. (Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia).
In 1970, Mr Chou Seng-Hak was appointed by the Peam Koh Sna community chief as the Leader of Prek Sangke Village, Peam Koh Sna community, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham province.
In 1975, Mr. Chou Seng-Hak’s family was sent to Vietnam due to the rise of Pol Pot. By 1980 Chou Seng-Hak’s family returned to live in Cambodia. In 1993, Chou Seng-Hak and his family moved to the united states where they reside to this day.
Mr. Chou Seng-Hak is a patriot and a victim who sacrificed to help the motherland along with many patriots in Cambodia. Chou Seng-Hak is a Buddihst, he is very generous and dedicated himself to Buddhism.
In 1999, Chou Seng-Hak, his wife, as well as his sons, daughters, relatives and close friends, performed an katun thien ceremony at Wat Tok Se Taram (Prek Sangke), Peam Koh Sna community, Stung Trang District, of Kampong Cham Province to help build the temple.
In 2000, Chou Seng-Hak built a gate at the entrance of Wat Tok Se Taram Prek Sangke (the gate of Neang Keut) for $5400.
In 2004 Chou Seng-Hak paid respect to his parents and celebrated a “Great Birthday” held at his house in Kampong Cham.
In 2006 Chou Seng-Hak received the National Construction Medal of the Senior Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia (a Gold Medal).
In 2010, Chou Seng-Hak helped build a pagoda gate at Wat Sovan ratanaram (Bek Anlong), Arak Tnout Community, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham Province for $4500.
In 2012 Chou Seng-Hak was invited to celebrate the newly build pagoda/or temple Wat Sovan ratanaram (Bek Anlong) to hold and cut the ribbon for the grand opening.
