Howard’s closest friends recognized him for his wisdom, strength of character, gentle nature and love for his family. He was passionate about his relationship with Christ, his church family, collecting antiques, the guitar, and Elvis.
Howard was born June 22, 1935 in Chanute, Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Jean, of 50 years and children, Loreen, Stephen, Andrew, and Timothy; his three grandchildren, Rachel, Michael and Austin, and brother, Carl Petty, and sister, Lela Alice Shomshack.
A Celebration of Howard’s life will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2502 Lombard Ave, Everett, WA 98201.
