

Marguerite Ann (Kirstein) Bacon August 20, 1923 - May 1,2023 Marguerite Ann Bacon, 99, of Everett, WA., died May 1, 2023. Marguerite was born August 20,1923 in Portland, OR. to Albert and Helen Kirstein. At age 6 months, the family moved back to Washington taking up residence in South Lake Stevens Hill. She attended Fobes School and graduated from Snohomish High School. After high school the family then moved to Everett. Marguerite worked for Everett Trust and Savings.
Marguerite was faithful to her church, First Baptist Church of Everett, her entire life, serving the Lord various capacities. Mom loved the Lord and became increasingly closer as the years went on. There was no need for introductions on May 1, as mom and the Lord spoke with each other every day. Her prayer list was large. It was at church where she met Howard (Bud) Bacon. Bud and Marguerite were married July 25,1947 enjoying 65 1/2 years together. They loved to travel, camping all over the west and loved Husky football.
Marguerite loved her family. Sons Paul, William (Rebecca), daughter Mary Robinson (Willie), 13 grandchildren, Andrew, Joel, Jane, Jesse, Mary, Anna, John, Paul, Emily, Matthew, Michael, William, Mark, Jade, Natkisha, Auja, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were her parents Albert and Helen Kirstein, sister Dorothy Smith, brother William Kirstein, husband Howard and daughter Jane Ann Bacon.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way for a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial/lunch service at First Baptist Church of Everett, 1616 Pacific Ave. at 12:00 p.m.
