Mary A. Ketchum

Mary went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 2, 2016. She is predeceased in death by her parents Nicholas and Jennie (Demidoff) Anderson and all 4 of her siblings. She leaves behind her five adult children, John and Pam Lane, Alta Klein, Cheryl (Dee-Dee) Murphy, Suzy (Judith) and Pio Villegas, and Jack Lane. She boasts 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. She loved them all and tried to share her cultural upbringing with everyone.

Mary was born and raised on Afognak Island, Alaska and was the first Post Mistress for the Village. She loved her extended family, many of them still residing in Alaska but lived most of her live in Everett, Washington.

She was a self-made cook who worked and retired in the local area. She loved to knit and crochet until her hands gave out and she turned to Bingo until her eyesight was weak. Country music was her constant companion and she was a hard praying woman. She loved to laugh and reminisce of times playing the accordion and going to dances in her dearly loved Native Village. Rest in Peace. Service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 3PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA.
