

Richard Louis Larson passed away peacefully on January 20, 2013. Richard was born on December 2, 1927 in St. Paul, Minnesota. His mother was Signe T. Larson who was born in Skein, Norway. His Father Clarence was born in Goodhue, Minnesota. He had a brother Robert and sister Helen.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy from 1945-48. He was at the Marshall Islands and Pearl Harbor on an aircraft carrier. He married his beloved wife Lillian in 1950. Their daughter Cindy was born three years later. He was very proud of being married for 62 years. He did volunteer work for the Salvation Army, helping with Emergency Canteens. He was a Boy Scout leader and did numerous plumbing projects for others. He loved music and played many musical instruments in S.A. bands. Dick worshipped at the Lynnwood Free Methodist Church with his wife Lil, daughter Cindy, son-in-law Norm and grandson Connor. He had great faith in God and loved people. He is preceded in death by his brother and sister.
A funeral will be held on Friday, February 1 at 12:30 p.m. at the Tahoma National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lynnwood Free Methodist Church, 6519 188th St. S.W., Lynnwood.
