

Joined the Navy in 1962 and served 4 years at China Lake Weapons Station in California. He obtained the rank of E-4/RM3 and earned his GED. After honorably discharging from the Navy, he became a corporate pilot and hung up his wings in 2006. He then started working in the wind energy business until his death. He enjoyed activities such as fishing, shooting, and carpentry among other things.
He married Janie Hunnicutt, the love of his life, on May 11, 1973 in Bloomfield, NM. During their later years they both traveled together for work and vacation. Even though a pilot, he hated to fly commercial airlines and would rather drive to his destinations.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janie, and sister, Carolyn.
He is survived by his son, Warren, and daughter-in-law, Leah (Flippo) Boling, of Sedro Woolley, WA; siblings Jerry Boling of Arizona, Warren K. Boling of Ladoga, IN, and Ruth Whitesell of Terra Haute, IN. Also surviving are his 4 grandchildren: Charity Flippo, Austin Flippo, Teala Boling, and Xylan Boling; one great-grandchild, Addrianna Flippo.
Ronald will be loved and missed by many.
