He is preceded in death by his father, Harold “Hal” R. McNary.
He is survived by his loving mother, Alice McNary; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Tom Bagley and Patty and Ed Murphy; numerous nieces and nephews; a special thanks to his good friends, Kathy Wedekind and her two sons, Beau and Chantz (his longtime shop assistant whom Jay mentored).
Jay’s passion in life was his auto mechanic shop. He was an avid fisherman, motorcyclist, snowmobiler and drag racer, an all-round outdoorsman.
