Sean Robert Mathison

Sean attended St. John the Evangelist grade school in Seattle, LaVenture Middle School in Mount Vernon, graduated from State Street High School in Sedro Woolley, and participated in the Cascades Job Corp Center. Sean was an avid Taekwondo student, having achieved his red/black belt. He enjoyed playing video games and Magic cards. As Sean himself wrote on one of his online profiles, “I go by IsTheSean on the Interwebs. Right now I’m dealing with a lot of medical problems and it’s no es BUENO!” Sean also enjoyed mixing music, teaching his cousins about Pokémon, and spending time at Games Plus in Lake Stevens.

Sean was preceded in death by his father Bruce R. Mathison and paternal grandfather Glenn E. Mathison. He was survived by his mother Diane E. Mathison of Lake Stevens, sister Jennifer L. Mathison of Everett, three grandparents Teresa L. Warrick of Lake Stevens, Edward R. Warrick of Woodinville, and Virene Mathison of Tahuya; and also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be celebrated at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, on January 28th at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial donation be made to Providence General Foundation, 916 Pacific Ave., Everett, WA 98201.
