Sue Yee Boober, 86 years old, returned to our loving Father February 14th, 2022 while resting peacefully at home. She lived in Everett, Washington close to Everett Community College and a close walk to the grocery store and shopping mall which she regularly journeyed to.
Sue began life in Tainan, Taiwan on November 30, 1935. In Taiwan she worked as a nurse in the local hospital before immigrating to the United States in 1966. There she started a growing family of 3 sons and 1 daughter of whom was her pride and joy.
Sue is remembered for her many activities and helping friends and neighbors but had a particular fondness for celebrating life with her close family and her many friends. Through out the year she opened her home to all for joyous meals with her amazing culinary skills. Christmas, Easter, & Thanksgiving were incredible feasts at a table with no free real-estate full of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, and trimmings. When you thought you were done you moved to the Chinese delicacies of home made egg rolls, stir fried shrimp, chicken, & beef, mixed noodles, and spicy vegetable dishes.
Sue was survived by her sons Chun Ho, Chris, Jaycen, a daughter Lily Sipe, her sister Huang Sue Ying and brother Huang Mine Rong, grand sons Shaun Montoya, Isaac Sipe, Nathan Boober, grand daughters Casie Montoya, Hannah Gloria, Emily Boober, & Josie Boober.
She preceded in to death by her Father Huang Chao Jiang, Mother Huang Wang Yueh Liang, older brother Huang Ming De, & second older brother Huang Ming Zhe.
There will be a small private memorial with family on February 26th. Sue’s remains will be interned at her church cemetery in Taiwan.
