Vernon James Weideman, 69, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away October 17, 2010. He was born July 26, 1941 in Towner, North Dakota and was a resident of Las Vegas for eight years. He moved from North Dakota in 1967 to Everett, Washington with his family for a job at Boeing, where he worked for 35 years before he retired.
He was preceded in death by wife, Ruby; and daughter, Jody Starr.
He is survived by his two daughters, Julie Heimark and Jane Robles; and his son, James Weideman; his two sons-in-law, Jeff Starr and Steve Heimark; and his six grandchildren, Erica Starr, Brian Starr, Mathew Heimark, Nathan Heimark, Milayna Robles and Desirae Robles; his mother, Christine Forbes; and his seven siblings.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, at Evergreen Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m.,
Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Evergreen Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room at the funeral home.
