Mike, Valerie, I don't know if you remember me, Alex and I were best friends at Mira Loma, and had met Alex back at Pasadena elementary school. I was just searching for him, because it had been so long since we had seen one another. I'm so saddened to hear of this loss, especially so long after the fact. He will always have a very special place in my heart, he was a very generous and kind person. It would be nice if you ever wanted to talk, I have many wonderful story's of Alex back in grade school and High School.

Alex and Jim were great friends to my children.  I can't get you out of my mind. I am just so sorry you have to go thru this. I pray that somehow God will bring you some kind of peace.

I wish now I said something at the service. I wanted to say even though we haven't been friends for a long time I fondly remember our play dates as first graders at Mission. I believe that it was these early friendships and memories that shaped my path, that taught me to be a good friend and how boys play. Thank you for the privlage an honor of your families friendships and learning experiences.

Praying for peace as you grieve the loss of Alex.  I went to elementary school with Alex at Mission Ave and remember him well.  Heard from a fellow Mission Ave classmate about his passing and want to send my love and prayers for the family.  May you find comfort in beautiful memories and may his and your souls be restful.

We are 1950 Grass Valley High School class mates of Alex's grandfather, Wes, & wish to express our sincere sympathy to all of you.  We can only imagine how painful it is to lose such a young family member.

I went through middle school and high school with Alex.  Though we weren't close friends, he always had a joke or funny story handy to keep the crowd laughing and smiling, and that's how I'll always remember him...with a laugh in his voice and a smile on his face.  My condolences to those he leaves behind.

Mike and Valerie, Your beautiful Alex was a wonderful person and would fill a room with delight with his amazing laughter and smile.  He will be missed by all who knew him!  Joshua and I are so sorry for your loss.  I can still see all the boys, so young, on roller blades with their hockey sticks playing out front...so many wonderful memories come to mind. Mike, Val and family ..... for many years now we have been so far apart, geographically, that our relationships as a family have grown distant.
