Andy Leon Shannon born in a cave near Las Animas, CO, in the middle of a blizzard on 12/29/1922. Passed away on 12/23/2013 in Citrus Heights, CA. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley Shannon; son Andy Shannon; and daughter, Lorena Queen Kirchner. Survived by wife, Linda Shannon; daughters, Christmas Claxton, Laura Cottor & son, David Shannon. Numerous grandchildren in CA, OK & NY. Served 11 yrs in USN on a submarine & 11 yrs in USAF in Japan, McClellan, Plattsburg, NY & Mac Dill AFB.
