Served in the U.S. Navy from August 1952 to May 1956. He served on the USS Twining ship.

He met Patty and they were married on June 30th, 1956 in Reno, NV. After the Navy, he went to work for Aerojet and other jobs, such as Murray Industrial Supply, and Enterprise car rental. Billy lived in the Sacramento/Orangevale area for 66 years.

A funeral service for Billy will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
