Dick McCall, the son of Charles Bye McCall & Katie Comba McCall, was born in Pitcher, Oklahoma, where he attended grammar and high school. Later he graduated from Miami Jr. College. After working in his grandfather, John Comba’s lumberyard, he moved to Sacramento, California, where he worked for 32 years at Sutter General Hospital, retiring in 1992. In his later years he moved from his apartment on Capital Ave., to three assisted living facilities in Sacramento & Roseville. Wearing his trademark caps, he was always a gentleman and known for his sunny disposition, gratitude, and playful teasing. He will be missed!
