Dennis Paul Dike

Jan. 19, 1938 - Jan. 16,2018

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Paul Dike. He was born Jan. 19, 1938 to Edward and Delsie Dike in McCook, NE and was the youngest of 13 children. After graduating college, Dennis moved to western Montana and started his life long career in retail management.

In 1959 Dennis met and later married Janice Marie Taylor. Their union resulted in the birth of four daughters from 1959 to 1970. They later divorced.

Dennis met the love of his life, Gloria Jean Gurley and they married on Dec. 30, 1979. Gloria brought four of her children and they continued to have 38 years of happiness together until his passing on Jan. 16, 2018.

Dennis traveled and lived in many different states throughout his career. He enjoyed his favorite pastimes with family, fishing, camping and woodworking.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, all of his siblings and step son, Earl (Skipper) Wilson III. Survivors include his wife Gloria, daughters Linda (Matt) Allen, Elizabeth (Dan) Ledford, Debbie Gonzales (Jeff Feder), Misty Coombs, Step daughter Robin (William) Lewandowski, step sons Kevin and Benjamin Gurley and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Dennis will be greatly missed and is loved by all of his family and many life long friends.
