Edward L Prindle

We announce with sadness that Edward L. Prindle passed away on April 18,2023 after a long illness. He was 78-years old and resided in Gold River, California for many years. Ed was born in Eureka, California, to Edward F. Prindle and Iris Loretta Prindle. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bobbie Metta Prindle.

Ed graduated from Humboldt State University and earned a Master's Degree from CSU, Chico. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving from 1969-1971.

He was truly a talented insurance agent. As a branch manager for MetLife Insurance Company, he was repeatedly recognized for managing one of the most productive offices in California. He was a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Registered Health Underwriter.

Additionally, he was a leader in insurance field in the Sacramento area, serving as president of the Sacramento Association of Life Underwriters and a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council.

For 26 years, Ed was a member of the Sacramento Sutter Club and 19 years as a member of the Sacramento Yacht Club.

Donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or any animal rescue center. At this time, there are no services planned.
