Survived by her husband of 59 years Geral Sartwell. She is also survived by two daughters Linda Doran of Sioux city, Iowa and Eva Forney of Folsom, California. Two granddaughters, Christina Ross and Lauren Ross of Sacramento and two grandsons, Eric Doran and David Doran. She has two great grandsons, Benjamin Keiser and Dylan Doran, along with many other family members who are loved and adored.
She came to the United States in 1949 from Germany. In 1954 she married Geral Sartwell who was an Air Force officer in Sacramento, California. They traveled the world together. She was also a voracious reader, a wonderful cook, seamstress and loved animals. She was caring, compassionate and generous. And she loved to shop.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday, October 22nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks with a Funeral service to follow on Wednesday, October 23rd at 10:00 am.
