Sacramento, California – Ernanita “Grandma Lily” Felisilda passed away quietly and peacefully on August 9, 2025, with her family by her side. She was 91 years old. Grandma Lily lived an enduring and endearing life that spanned over ten decades. Together with her beloved and belated husband, Pas, they raised five kids who were born in Charleston, South Carolina, Rota, Spain, and Cebu City Philippines. Grandma Lily was a very spiritual and religious mother (Iglesia Ni Cristo – Church of Christ) who raised her kids with faith and love. She will be remembered as the most beloved, humorous, charming, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Pacita, Pastor (Dina), Pascasio “JR” (Jeniffer), and Perpetua “Bebith.” She is also survived by her grandsons, Patrick (Marie) and Dean, and her great granddaughter, Liliana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascasio “Pas” Felisilda Sr. and her son, Prudencio “Freddie” Felisilda.
Grandma Lily was born on November 7, 1933, in Leyte, Philippines to Alipio and Marciana Tamse Quinong. She had six sisters and one brother. In her childhood years, her family moved to Agusan del Norte, Philippines. She was the last surviving member of her family. She met her husband in Manila. Later he joined the United States Navy and together they raised a blossoming family until he passed away in 1993. She loved and cherished all five of her children, especially her special needs son, Freddie, who lived a long and blessed life until he passed away late last year. As a widow, she was never alone. She was blessed with two grandsons and a great granddaughter. Grandma Lily loved to travel and even traveled in her late 80’s and 90’s.
We will always cherish the memory of Grandma Lily in our hearts and minds. She was always warm and friendly to everyone she met. She always tried to love and care for her large extended family around the world. She will be missed for her warm smile, her hearty laugh, and her profound sense of humor. Grandma Lily will always be remembered and cherished and loved throughout the ages.
Family and friends are invited to a Viewing on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Mount Vernon Memorial Park 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks, California 95628 with Interment to follow at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, main reception room, second floor.
