Eunice Beatrice Scholz, 77, resident of Roseville CA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 27, 2012 in Fair Oaks. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 8, 1935, the daughter of Joseph and Roberta Costa. Eunice attended Hyde Park High School and American River College where she received an Associate in Arts degree. Eunice was married to Leonard Richard Bohlke on July 3, 1954, and later to Richard Thomas Scholz on September 23, 1978. She spent her working career at Kaiser Permanente as a Certified Medical Assistant for 21 years. She loved Theater Arts, acting, was an avid participant of Wolf Mountain Retreat, loved her church and enjoyed singing in various choirs. Eunice was preceded by her second husband Richard and her brother Melbourne Burton Jr. She was survived by her first husband Leonard Bohlke; her brother Thomas Burton (Sherry) of Florida; three children, Robert Bohlke (Marina), Kathryn Chaney, and Raymond Bohlke (Edith); four grandchildren, Nicole Reed, Travis Chaney, Jessica Bohlke, Christopher Chaney; and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:30 am at Hillcrest Alliance Church in Roseville CA.
