

Glen was born on February 25, 1930 and grew up in Los Angeles. He was the youngest of six children. Predeceased are his wife Dorothy, brothers Charles, George, Wilber, and sister Norma. His sister Jean lives in Sonora.
Glen married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy, and they lived together in the Los Angeles area for 22 years. They had seven children; 6 boys and one girl: Bob, Jon, Rick, Mike, Barry, Glenda and David. In 1969 they moved their family to Los Altos Hills, California.
Glen began his career at a young age in Precision Grinding and eventually became a master grinder. In 1990, after 40 years, he retired. Glen and his wife then moved to Grass Valley and enjoyed many years of retirement and country living. They truly loved spending time with their grandchildren. In 2007 they moved to Citrus Heights, CA. They were blessed to be married for 70 years. Glen had seven grandchildren: Cheryl, Andrew, Sarah, Briana, Ricky, Kylie, Hayden and two great-grandchildren, Alden and Sunny.
Glen had always dabbled in woodworking and after retirement his passion grew. He spent many hours refinishing furniture pieces for himself, as well as for many family members. Early on they raised and showed Basset Hounds, raised goats, chickens, horses, and pigs. He liked to spend time outside, going for walks, tending to their large garden and all the animals. He enjoyed old movies, documentaries \, antiques, and classic cars. He found strength in his faith and enjoyed attending church.
