Dear Mrs. Elam & Family:

We were so saddened to hear of Mr. Elam's passing.  We know that he will be greatly missed.  It was always a blessing to see you both in a class, or at a Fellowship function.  We pray that you find comfort in the Word, and the Hope that God has promised each us who believe.  May God comfort your hearts at this very difficult time.

I know he will be greatly missed but will live on through you, your children and your grandchildren. We are so thankful for your son, the wonderful man of God, Brady, and his sweet family that have the privilege to know and fellowship closely with here in North San Diego.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you during these days. God bless you.

Visiting Grandpa Joe and Grandma Doreen was always fun when residing in Sacramento. They had one of the largest movie collection I had ever seen. Borrowing movies and watching them there was just one of the experiences I looked forward to when coming to visit. These memories always return when I find myself enjoying a good film.

For 20 years I heard Joe's orange city truck "beep beeping" backwards into his driveway after work.  I knew it was between 5 and 6 p.m.  I love you, Doreen, Nora, Brady and Johann.

We are sending sympathy and prayers for comfort and guidance as you face the difficult days ahead. We are so sorry to hear that your dad has fallen asleep. We know that you can find strength and comfort in the love of your family.

My hart is heavy with sarrow for my fathers passing. But i know that i will see him at the gathering. I learned a lot from my dad. The thing i learned the most , was that his kids will have great benafits in thier lives, because of his. The desire of God's rightly devided truth, and being my dads son is an honor and a pleasure. I will miss him greatly!

We only knew you through your amazing Children...and through them ... We have been thouroughly blessed. Thank You. Our Thoughts Prayers and Love is with all the Elam's during this time. And Brady..we Love you 'Princess'?

God's blessings and comfort to the Elam family.  I am so thankful for knowing Joe and being one of Joe's many friends.  Many years of warm memories.  He will be missed.

I will never forget our first dance many years ago...thank you for raising such a wonderful family whom I have had the privileage to love for years. Thank you for welcoming me and my children into your family. Thank you for giving the world such a great family. You are missed.

I miss my dad, I have learned many different things from him. Working on cars, fishing, math, electronics...among a few things. He was a very scholastic type and enjoyed studying. I believe my artistic abilities came from him, as well as half my stuborness. I look forward to being with him again in the return.
