Joyce Catherine Mueller
August 12, 1934 - July 17, 2025
Joyce was born in Cassel, Wisconsin on August 12, 1934 to Anton and Lokadia Lepak. Joyce was one of eight siblings living life on a farm. She graduated from Marathon High School in 1952 where she participated in the Glee Club and Speech Club and was prom queen her Junior year. After school she worked as a receptionist in Wausau. She met Robert Mueller while dancing in Rib River and was literally swept off her feet, marrying him September 4, 1954. They moved to Chicago, where Glenn was born. Bob got a job working at a television station in Wausau that brought them back to be closer to family, for a short time at least. After Charmaine was born they moved to Rib Mountain where they built their first home. Bob received a diploma from Devry University and took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration in Sacramento. The family settled in Fair Oaks, where they built their lifelong home. Joyce studied floral design and the family decided to buy Lincoln Florist where Joyce proved very successful in her business. Sadly Bob died of a brain tumor in 1986. Joyce lived the rest of her days as a single lady with many admirers. She spent time traveling and playing golf and being with her grandkids. She is survived by her two children: Glenn Mueller and Charmaine Austin; her four grandchildren: Mallory Mueller, Gregory Mueller (Lorissa), Royce Austin (Angela), and Camille Austin. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Gauge, Liam, Lilly, Geraldine, Levi, Colton, Quinn and Kylie.
