Judie will forever be remembered for her deep love of life and the people around her. She was a generous and kind-hearted woman who touched everyone she met. Those who knew and loved her were inspired by her selflessness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, neighbors, and community. She had a special love for music and dance, and her joy was often seen in the way she moved, celebrated, and brought laughter and energy to those around her. She also loved playing cards and games with her family, creating countless moments of connection, laughter, and lasting memories.
Judie worked in the Rancho Cordova and Gold River areas for over 40 years as a hairstylist. Many knew her as “JR” from JR’s Hair Clinic, and more recently from Barbers and More. Throughout her long career, she built lasting relationships and became a trusted and cherished presence within the community.
Beyond her professional life, Judie devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family and to the community she loved. She served as a cheer coach for the Jr. Lancer Cheer team and volunteered extensively in youth sports and community events. To many, she was simply known as “Grandma Judie,” a title that reflected the love, care, and joy she gave so freely.
