Died January 23, 2022 at home where she lived with her youngest son in Auburn, California.
She had such a zest for life. She never wanted to stay still. She worked all her life at a variety of jobs to care for her children. Later in life she put herself through school to become a home health aide so she could care for others, which is what she did until she retired in her late 80’s.
She loved to garden, not as a hobby but as a way of life, she loved all children. Her hobbies were beading, crocheting, sewing, quilting and reading.
Leola lived to just shy of 93 years old was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & friend.
Mother of 15 children, survived by 7: Beverly Anderson, Louise Boles, Hope Bickford, Charity Smith, Daniel Welch, Andrew Welch & Beth Mack, Also a sister, Phyllis Dempsey and brothers, Gordon Burr & Perter Burr, and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Sacramento, CA on Friday February 11, 2022 @ 1:00 P.M.
