Lois Jean Scott Parnell was born on January 23, 1930 in Van Buren, Arkansas, the daughter of Fred and Melvia Scott, and entered Heaven on August 24, 2015. In the early 40’s, the family moved to California after the passing of her father. When she was 14 years old, she caught the eye of Del Parnell, and they were married 4 years later. She was the love of his life, his wife of 67 years, his sweetheart, his companion, the mother of his 4 children, 15 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, all bringing her great delight.
She is survived by sister, Sandy Freeman, brother, Finus Scott, husband, Del Parnell; children Nick & Diane Parnell, Patty & Bill Mays, John & Janet Parnell, and Pamela & Floyd Mee; grandchildren Patrick, Christopher, Kyle, Tami, Zachary, Cameron, Michael, Roseanne, Jared, Levi, Hunter, Benjamin, Michelle, Eric & Jessica; and great grandchildren Kyla, Caleb, Isaac, Nathan, Rachel, Weston, Sinjin, Bode, Ryder, Tensley, Levi, Luke, Anastasia, Ruth Lois, Mordecai, McKenna, Nora, Rylan, & Chase.
