Marcia Lynn Christensen

Marcia Lynn Christensen, September 30, 1935 - December 16, 2011. She loved life, her family, her friends, and her faith. We here on earth were blessed with her presence for 76 years, and now she has gone home to be with her Lord after a courageous battle against cancer.

Marcia leaves behind husband Fred, children and their spouses Kathy and Tom, Robert, Richard and Tari, and Darla; grandchildren Jason, Amy, Jimmy, Crystal, and Levi; and great-grandchildren Maliyah and Little Eddy. She was predeceased by her first husband Walter, her parents Homer and Dorothy, and her brother Jerry.

Marcia was born in Kansas and graduated from Arkansas City High School. She moved to California in th e1950's, where she lived for most of her life in the Sacramento area except for a few years when she lived in Southern California. She worked as a personnel director for the May Company in the 1970's. She has always been very active in her church, with her last membership being the Sunrise Community Church. In addition to spending time with her hobbies, she led weekly Bible study groups. Marcia loved to create beauty in her paintings, embroidery, sewing, ceramic crafts, jewelry making, and writing praises to the Lord.
