Mary Hopkins was born February 9, 1928 to the late William Hardy Stephens and Mary Edna Stephens in Cordele, Georgia. She passed away at age 93 on December 9, 2021 in Orangevale, California. She was the loving wife of the late Floyd "Bud" Hopkins. She is survived by her children, Patrice Hopkins Dihle, Thomas Hopkins, and Stephen Hopkins. Grandchildren, Anthony Dihle, Joshua Dihle, Kile Hopkins, Adam Hopkins, John Hopkins, Greg Hopkins, and 7 great grandchildren. Mary was a small but mighty woman and there was never any doubt as to where she stood; especially, when it came to her faith and her love of her family. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family. She was an avid gardener which was evidenced by her beautiful yard and abundant vegetable garden. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
