

Maxine Mills, 85, unexpectedly passed out of this world and into the next, January 20, 2019 in Goodyear Arizona. She was born September 9, 1933 in Sacramento California to Gwendolyn H. Buehler and Max John Buehler.
Maxine Lived most of her life in Fair Oaks, California, a suburb of Sacramento. She was married to her husband Roland Thomas Mills in 1954 and had a daughter Charmaine Mills and a son, Roland Thomas Mills II. Mrs. Mills was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Fair Oaks Ward. On Christmas Day, 2004, three years after the passing of her husband, she, with her mother Gwen Buehler moved to Goodyear Arizona to live with her son Roland and his partner Danny Hoffman to enjoy the warmth and the sunshine.
She is survived by her daughter Charmain Mills-McClellan & Husband Gregory R. McClellan, her son Roland Thomas Mills II & Husband Danny Joe Hoffman, her grandson Keith R McClellan, her granddaughter Heather Dawn McClellan & boyfriend Ryan Thomas Macias, and her mother’s brother, Uncle George Leavitt; who just reached his one hundredth birthday in October of 2018.
She is also a Mom & Grandma not only by blood, but also by heart to many wonderful people who she has always held close in her thoughts. Years ago, her son gave her the nickname “Myrrh” after the healing herb; describing the patience, kindness and love she demonstrated to everyone. Maxine will be remembered as Vocalist, Mother, Grandmother, Caregiver, and Dear Friend; but most of all she is our Angel whose gentle sweetness and love touched everyone she met.
