Olga Emma Hammond

Olga Hammond of Sacramento, California passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 28, 2022 at the age of 105. Olga was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. She and her husband of 54 years enjoyed their lives together living in various areas, finally settling in Sacramento for retirement. During retirement, they traveled the world and went on countless camping trips throughout California and the United States. Early in life Olga attended business college and briefly worked in the banking industry. While living in Lakeport, she taught piano and was the pianist at the church the family attended. In recent years, together with her family, Olga attended Trinity Life Center, and previously, Capital Christian Center. She loved reading her Bible daily and even in her last days she was singing and praising Jesus. She devoted her life to building a legacy of love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for her family and friends alike. Olga was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, youngest daughter, and son-in-law and is survived by her oldest daughter, three grandchildren and their spouses, five great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
