Patricia (Patty) Lynn Ludwig passed on June 18, 2024 at Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center in Sacramento, California after a period of declining health. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 5, 1953 to Vivian Ludwig (Frankie) and LaVern (Joe) Ludwig.
The Ludwig family moved to North Highlands, California in 1960 to escape the challenging weather for her father, a U.S. mail carrier. Vivian worked as a beloved elementary school cook during her years in California. Patty graduated from Highlands High School, in later years she worked at Progressive and then VSP as a customer service representative. Although she never married or had children, she was close with her niece Cora and nephew Soren from her brother Joseph Ludwig, she also adored her cats. Later in life she was a big fan of the Sacramento Kings and the San Francisco 49ers.
Patty will be buried alongside her mother and father at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, California. There are no scheduled funeral services at this time. If you wish, please donate to a cat shelter in her name, she would have appreciated it.
