Richard Edgar Anderson Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Edgar Anderson on September 13, 2024, in Rancho Cordova, California. Son of Ernestine Anderson and Richard Edgar Anderson Sr., he was born on December 29, 1963 at Glasgow Air Force Base, Montana.

He is survived by his seven children Nicole, Nanci, Josh, Nick, Analyssa, AB, and Ashley. Fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sisters Nel Bohling, Patty Cagley, and Tina Anderson.

Richard also known as JR to his family and most friends was a proud member of the Rancho Cordova Community (Villa) where he grew up and sustained lifelong friendships throughout the years. A true friend with a big heart and a giving person to those he could help even if it came with some choice words, or a stern talk attached. Known for his work ethic JR worked diligently in the copier and imaging industry for thirty plus years starting his own successful company, AAA Imaging Solutions, creating not only business relationships but friendships along the way. Anyone who knew JR will attest he was a car and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed nothing more than being behind the wheel or handlebars of anything loud and fast. His proudest moments were spending time with his grandchildren and talking about them any chance he could.

JR will always be remembered for his live in the moment, for the moment attitude. His energetic personality, infectious laugh and glowing smile will be missed by all who knew him but will never be forgotten.
