

Robert Paul Cunneen, 77, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, Nov 10, 2012 at his home in Rancho Murieta. Bob retired from Chrysler Financial on October 5, 1996 following executive positions in Albuquerque, Boise, Portland and Sacramento. A well-known and revered resident of Rancho Murieta since 1978, he served several terms as both president of the Rancho Murieta Men’s Club, and president of the Rancho Murieta Country Club. During his tenure as president of the country club, he was instrumental in the extensive remodeling project of the country club.He was born November 18, 1934 in Fall River Massachusetts, the son of Fred and Esther Cunneen. Out of a deep sense of responsibility and a passion for his country, he served as an Army Reservist for more than seven years. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 41 years, Loretta, and his 4 children; Michael Cunneen of Portland, Oregon, Molly Docherty of Beaverton, Oregon, Daniel Cunneen of Seattle, WA and Allie Billat of Colfax, CA. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren; Lauren Needham, Dara Docherty, LCpl Tim Bergenstock, Rob Docherty, Blake Billat & Dominic Billat. And, two great grandchildren, Sean Bergenstock and Tiffani Needham. Services will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rancho Murieta at 11:00 am on Friday, the 18th. The family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in lieu of flowers.
