Steven Edward Pena was born on July 25th, 1956 at Mercy Hospital, to Sam and Jean Pena of Sacramento, CA. He was the youngest of three children, all five years apart, and the only boy. Steve was the apple of everyone's eye. He was so cute.....a handsome little tike.
Steve was so very talented growing up. He was very musically inclined. He played the piano and sang as well. He joined the Air National Guard shortly after high school. Steve became an exceptional marksman and participated in many competitions. After a lot of hard work and studying, he transferred to the Army National Guard and later retired at the rank of Captain.
Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January of 2021 and entered into rest on July 2, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
He is survived by his sisters, Gina Crabtree of Roseville, CA and Gloria Bloch of Melbourne, FL.
