Agapito Moreno, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at a hospice center in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 88. He was born on February 21, 1933 to Agapito Moreno, Sr. and Gregoria Hernandez Moreno in Falfurrias, Texas. Agapito worked as a Ranch Hand for many years and did yardwork/maintenance in his spare time. He loved all his nieces and nephews and always treated them as children since he never had any of his own. He tried to help care for them when he could and always wanted to have them with him. As he got older, he enjoyed playing Bingo and Chalupa with his friends and nursing home community.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings, Eva M. Salazar, Amadeo Moreno, Alberto Moreno, Adan Moreno and Emma M. Lopez.
He leaves behind his sister, Maria Elida Munoz of Falfurrias; brother, Alberto H. Moreno of Falfurrias and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved.
