Alberto Salazar, 73, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1949 to Tomas G. Salazar and Luisa Chapa Salazar in Hebbronville, Texas. Alberto loved being with family and was always willing to show his support in any activities or events they were in. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought a whole new joy into his life and he adored them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ariel Salazar and siblings, Tomas Salazar and Olanda S. Aguilar.
Alberto leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 54 years, Yolanda G. Salazar; son, Alberto (Diana) Salazar Jr.; brothers, Alvaro (Elizabeth) Salazar and Adolfo (Becky) Salazar all of Hebbronville; grandchildren, Christopher (+Diliana), Albert III, Oscar, Brandon and Gabrianna Antonia Salazar and four great-grandchildren, Braelynn, Rylee, Alberto IV and Oscar V. Jr.
Visitation will start at 8:30 a.m. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville.
