

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Eliza H. Rodriguez; son, Alejandro Rodriguez Jr.; sisters, Blanca Vasquez, Thelma Vasquez and Dalia Ramirez
Alex graduated from Hebbronville High School in 1963 and proudly served his country serving in the United States Army from 1963-1966 stationed at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York as a Special Unit Marksman receiving the National Defense Service Medal before his assignment overseas in Germany. Upon his return to Hebbronville, Texas, met the love of his life in his wife, Eliza, and started their new life in Houston, Texas where their two sons were born Alex, Jr., and Rodney. Alex and Eliza then moved back to Hebbronville, Texas where Alex worked as the United States Veteran Administration Officer for a period of time and enjoyed working in carpentry in his later life. His hobby was refurbishing fishing gear and going fishing with his family and friends.
He leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by his son, Dr. Rodney H. Rodriguez of McAllen, Texas, Jay Sepulveda of Laredo, Texas,; brother, Juan Rodriguez of Alice, Texas; sisters, Yolanda Gonzalez of Hebbronville, Texas, Maria Luisa Perez of Alice, Texas, Diana Naranjo of Corpus Christi, Texas and Letty Navarez of Hebbronville, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Aaron Rodriguez and Alejandro Rodriguez III; great grandchildren, Alejandro Rodriguez IV and Audrie Rodriguez; numerous family members.
A Celebration of Life for Alex will be held in Hebbronville, Texas, on September 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hebbronville Cemetery, East, Tx-285, Hebbronville, Texas. Memorial Service will be livestreamed at www.FunerariaDelAngelHWilliams.com or www.facebook.com/FDAHowardWilliams
