Alicia Arredondo entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 89. She was born on July 18, 1933 to Vicente Arredondo and San Juanita Benavides Arredondo in Falfurrias, Texas. Alicia was a full time caregiver and loved to draw and listen to music in her spare time. She was an excellent cook and was always happy and willing to help wherever and whenever she could.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents.
She is survived by brother, Amador (Anna) Arredondo; two sisters, Ofelia (Oscar Diego) Guerra and Agueda (Edward, Jr.) Garza all of Falfurrias and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Amador Arredondo Jr., Louie Hinojosa, Bill Gaier, Ricky Garcia Jr., Albert Hernandez and Ramiro Martinez.
Rosary will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:15 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
