Amando Rodriguez Jr.

Amando Rodriguez, Jr., of Encino, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas at the age of 47. He was born on August 8, 1975 to Amando Rodriguez and Odilia Abrego Rodriguez in Falfurrias, Texas. Amando was a proud member of the Southern Brooks County Volunteer Fire Department. He also enjoyed working with a wrecker service after working many years in the oilfield. Amando enjoyed spending time with his children and family and some of his favorite things to do were hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Amando Rodriguez, Sr.; nephew, Bryan Garza; brother-in-law, Jaime Villarreal and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Amando is survived by his sons, Aaron (Marisol Gonzalez) Silvas Rodriguez, Alex (Serah Olivarez) Rodriguez and Adam (John Moreno) Rodriguez all of Falfurrias, Texas; daughters, Victoria Lee Rodriguez and Megan Leila Rodriguez both of Falfurrias; mother, Odilia A. Rodriguez of Encino; brother, Gabriel (Bonnie) Rodriguez of Calallen, Texas; sisters, Adela R. Villarreal of Encino, Melinda R. (Eddy) Garza of Falfurrias and Veronica R. (Michael) Huerta of Falfurrias; granddaughter, Sophia Lee Rodriguez of Falfurrias; mother of his children, Rhonda Lee Vargas of Falfurrias and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
