Arcadia G. Ozuna

Arcadia G. Ozuna entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 84. She was born on January 17, 1930 to Felix Garcia and Guadalupe Bazan Garcia in Starr County, Texas. She was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother. As Arcadia entered into the gates of Heaven she was embraced into the arms of her parents; her husband, Sabas Ozuna; her daughter, Lily Maria Ozuna; grandson, Carlos Rene Ozuna; three brothers, Ramiro, Policapio and Tomas Garcia and her sister, Eloisa Gutierrez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving children, Oscar (Diana) Ozuna of Rio Grande City, Texas; Elma O. (Heberto) Barrera, Jr. of Premont, Texas and Margie Ozuna of Hebbronville, Texas; brother, Bernardo (Arcadia) Garcia of Rio Grande City; seven grandchildren, Cynthia B. (Marco) Crawford, Cristina P. Barrera, Tomas J. Barrera, Arnoldo Rosalez, Jr., Oscar Roberto (Sissy)Ozuna, Vanessa (Carlos)Hinojosa and Monica Ozuna and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Oscar Roberto Ozuna, Tomas Joaquin Barrera, Arnoldo Rosalez, Beto Ruiz, Horacio Ozuna, Felix Gutierrez, Jesus Gutierrez and Rocky Molina. Honorary Pallbearers are Sofia Arredondo, Juan Carlos Guerra and Isidro Gutierrez.

Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and to conclude with a burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
