Benita Jolin Rosas-Garza

Benita Jolin Rosas Garza entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 7, 2015 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 30. She was born on March 1, 1985 to Alberto Rosas, Sr. and Amelia Perez in Falfurrias, Texas. She was a housewife and homemaker. Jolin was the “Reyna” of the family. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and her family. Her son was her life. She also greatly enjoyed dill pickles and therefore was given the nickname “Dilly.”

She is preceded in death by her father, Alberto Rosas, Sr.; and her grandmothers, Elida Longoria Rosas and Petra Perez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, whom she married on February 7, 2015, Daniel Garza, III, her son, John Daniel Garza both of Falfurrias; her mother, Amelia Perez of Falfurrias; four brothers, Albert (Melissa) Rosas, Jr., Gerardo (Yolanda) Rosas and Arnulfo (Amber) Rosas all of Falfurrias and Michael (Stephanie) Rosas of Hebbronville, Texas; four sisters, Debra (Noel) Rosas, Pauline (Robert) Rosas, Crystal Rosas and Anita (Manuel) Rosas all of Falfurrias; a special cousin whom she saw as a sister, Tina (Emilio) Narvaez of Falfurrias and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be her four brothers, Albert, Gerardo, Arnulfo and Michael Rosas, Joe Garza and Juan Lara. Honorary pallbearers will be Juventino Rosas, Sr. and Amancio Rosas, Jr.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
