Carolina H. Hernandez Solis

Carolina H. Solis, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November, 25, 2012, at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas, surrounded by her family. Carolina was born on August 29, 1929 to Arcadio Hernandez and Sara Rebulcabal Hernandez in Hebbronville, TX. Carolina worked for many years at the Brooks County Hospital and also at Community Action of Falfurrias, before her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Julian Solis, Sr.; daughter, Maria Del Carmen Munoz; brother, Nativedad Hernandez; and sister, Guadalupe Vasquez.

She is survived by her son, Julian (Lori) Solis, Jr.; daughters, Marta (Ted) Crain and Sara (Adan) Garza all of Falfurrias, TX; sisters, Ofelia Garza of Hebbronville, TX, and Lucia Saenz of Corpus Christi, TX; sister-in-law, Gloria Hernandez of Hebbronville, TX; and son-in-law, Jose Munoz of North Dakota; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Adan Garza, Julian Solis, Jr., Ted Crain, Jr., Rene Hernandez, Jose Alberto Solis, and Antonio Solis, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Nicholas Solis and Alejandro Sabastian Garza.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams of Falfurrias, with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias; with burial following at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
