Christina Dahlia Lopez-Shafer

Christina Dahlia Lopez-Shafer, infant child, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on Saturday, October 8, 2011 to Joseph Shafer and Sylvia M. Lopez in San Antonio, Texas. Her close family surrounded her as she departed to Heaven to be with the Lord. Her paternal grandfather Williams Shafer precedes her in death. She is survived by her loving parents Joseph Shafer and Sylvia M. Lopez of San Antonio, TX, paternal grandmother Maria Shafer of Del Rio, TX, maternal grandparents Pedro P. Lopez Jr. and Cristina H. Lopez of Hebbronville, TX, uncles Pedro P. (Yvonne C.) Lopez III of Hebbronville, TX, Billy W. (Gloria) Shafer of San Antonio, TX and Rodney (Rosario) Shafer of Del Rio, TX, aunts Christina Lopez of McAllen, TX, Renita (Leo) Fuentes of San Antonio, TX, Bonita (Roland) Snyder of Virginia, and Brenda Shafer of Dallas, TX and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be: Pedro P. Lopez III, Billy William Shafer, Romeo Herrera, Jose Alvar Gutierrez III and Ricardo Alberto Gutierrez.

Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and will conclude with burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
