Daniel Garza

Daniel Garza, 86, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his residence in Premont, Texas. Mr. Garza was born on April 10, 1926 to Maximian Garza and Manuela Lara Garza in Falfurrias, TX. He was a steel worker for Western Steel & Wire, before his retirement. Mr. Garza is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Daniel Garza, Jr., Ismael Garza, and Miguel Lira.

He is survived by his wife Maria Garza of Premont, TX; six sons, Rogelio Garza, Eloy Garza, Rafael Garza, Amador (Trisha) Garza all of Sterling, Illinois, Ricardo (Laura) Garcia of San Antonio, TX, and Guadalupe (Colleen) Garza of Dixon, Illinois; three daughters, Betty Garza, Hilda (Doug) Thielen all of Sterling, Illinois, and Elizabeth Garza of San Antonio, TX; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, with visitation starting at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Falfurrias, with burial following at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
